What we are building
vetOS is one platform with two deliberate scopes: advocate case management, and veteran document organization.
For accredited advocates and organizations. vetOS is full case management software for VSOs, accredited representatives, and claims businesses. It is designed to plug into the VA using each accredited individual's VA-issued key, so professional workflows stay inside authorized channels.
For veterans. The veteran version is strictly an organizational tool: a secure place to store and arrange VA documentation in a neat, ordered fashion. It does not help file a claim, prepare a claim, or generate documents for a veteran to submit. Storage and organization only.

The veteran version of vetOS is strictly an organizational tool. Profit will never drive the price for individual veteran accounts, regardless of what organizations or representatives pay.
Veterans who use vetOS on their own get a sealed instance to securely store and organize VA documents in a neat, ordered fashion. That is the full scope of the veteran product.
vetOS does not help veterans file a claim, prepare a claim, or generate documents for them to submit. No claim coaching. No filing assistance. No document generation for VA submission. Organization only.

Averi LaBrecque
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Averi LaBrecque is the Founder and CEO of Onyx Group, where he leads the company's technology strategy, software architecture, and product development. A retired U.S. Army veteran, he combines operational leadership with extensive experience designing secure, scalable software for government, commercial, and emerging technology sectors.
Previously, Averi served as the Lead Architectural Engineer at HAIAS, managing development teams, leading enterprise software architecture, and facilitating the design of complex systems from concept through deployment. He is also a developer with xb.live, contributing to the modernization of the original Xbox online ecosystem.
Beyond his leadership at Onyx Group, Averi is the creator of XNET, an open-source encrypted communications platform, and the architect behind Osprey, an enterprise-ready offensive security platform built for advanced penetration testing. He is also a member of Shadow Canopy, contributing to initiatives focused on AI software supply-chain security and secure software engineering.
Adam Halfacre
Director of Client Solutions
Adam Halfacre serves as Director of Client Solutions at Onyx Group, bringing over a decade of experience in fiber optic communications, technical operations, and customer-focused engineering. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with field technicians and organizations to develop practical solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and service delivery.
As the owner of Ember Tech Labs, Adam has designed and developed custom software and tooling tailored to the needs of fiber engineers and service technicians. His expertise extends beyond software into custom hardware development, where he specializes in creating purpose-built solutions that bridge the gap between field operations and technology.
At Onyx Group, Adam leads client engagement and solution development, ensuring technical requirements are translated into innovative, dependable solutions that meet each client's unique operational needs. His hands-on experience and passion for engineering make him a trusted partner for organizations tackling complex technical challenges.
